Lebron James Makes His Choice!

The wait is finally over. All the hoopla and drama has finally resulted in the announcement that Lebron James will be joining Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami for the 2010-2011 basketball season. In the ESPN primetime special that kicked off at 9PM on July 8th, LBJ formally announced his intention to join the Miami Heat from a Boys and Girls Club facility in Greenwich, CT.

Leaks and sources from earlier in the day had already hinted at the announcement which was made official at just around 9:25 PM EST.

This causes a huge shift in power to Miami, with the super-trio of Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and Lebron James. The All-Stars are likely to form Miami into an powerhouse capable of immediately being a factor for the playoffs and going all the way to the finals next year. Who will fill out the rest of Miami's roster?

Were you surprised by LBJ's pick? With the triple-power in Miami, what teams have the greatest chance of being relevant in the ring race? Doc Rivers' aging Celtics? Carlos Boozer and Derrick Rose lonely men over in Chicago? A'Mare Stoudemire's empty-roster Knicks?

Leave your guess in the comments!
